皮帶輸送機又稱膠帶輸送機，輸送帶根據(jù)摩擦傳動原理而運動。皮帶輸送機的輸送線路適應(yīng)性強又靈活，輸送長度根據(jù)需要而定。皮帶式輸送機具有輸送量大、結(jié)構(gòu)簡單、維修方便、部件標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化等優(yōu)點，廣泛應(yīng)用于礦山、冶金、煤炭等行業(yè)，用來輸送松散物料或成件物品，根據(jù)輸送工藝要求，可單臺輸送，也可多臺組成或與其它輸送設(shè)備組成水平或傾斜的輸送系統(tǒng)，以滿足不同布置型式的作業(yè)線需要 ,適用于輸送堆積密度小于1.67/噸/立方米，易于掏取的粉狀、粒狀、小塊狀的低磨琢性物料及袋裝物料，如煤、碎石、砂、水泥、化肥、糧食等。被送物料溫度小于60℃。其機長及裝配形式可根據(jù)用戶要求確定，傳動可用電滾筒，也可用帶驅(qū)動架的驅(qū)動裝置。
皮帶輸送機主要由機架、輸送皮帶、皮帶輥筒、張緊裝置、傳動裝置等組成。機身采用鋼板連接而成 ，由前后支腿的高低差形成機架，平面呈一定角度傾斜。機架上裝有皮帶輥筒、托輥等，用于帶動和支承輸送皮帶。有減速電機驅(qū)動和電動滾筒驅(qū)動兩種方式。

皮帶輸送機根據(jù)結(jié)構(gòu)形式可分為：平形皮帶輸送機和升降式皮帶輸送機。根據(jù)使用又分為:移動式和固定式。升降又分為：電機升降和手動升降。皮帶輸送機的類型主要有槽型皮帶機、平型皮帶機、爬坡皮帶機、轉(zhuǎn)彎皮帶機等多種形式，輸送帶上還可增設(shè)提升擋板、裙邊等附件，能滿足各種工藝要求。輸送機兩側(cè)配以工作臺、加裝燈架，可作為電子儀表裝配，食品包裝等裝配線。

5.本系列產(chǎn)品能滿足水平、提升、下運等條件。也可采用帶凸弧段，凹弧段與直線段組合的輸送形式。
6.便于實現(xiàn)運輸送系統(tǒng)的自動化控制。
7.輸送機應(yīng)盡量安裝在通廊內(nèi)。在露天場合下，驅(qū)動站應(yīng)加防護(hù)罩。
8.DTⅡ型固定式帶式輸送機均按部件系列進(jìn)行設(shè)計。選用時可根據(jù)工藝路線，按不同地形及工況進(jìn)行選型設(shè)計，計算，組裝成套機。
