solar garden light is a green and environmentally friendly product. the light is powered by solar energy through the solar panel on the light. the solar panel converts sunlight energy into electic energy and then charges the "AA NI-MH" rechargeable batery during the day. the light tuens on automatically at night and tuens off automatically at dawn. the runtime of the light is dependent on the amount of charging time that the solar panel is exposed to a longer exposire to sunlight will increase the performance of hte solar light. place the light in a place where there is good sunlight exposure to charge your light properly. maximun sunlight exposure will allow the light to work up to 8 hours.

Battery Replacement:
If the light stops working after being used for a long time, the rechargeable battery maybe beyond its lifespan. Take off the head of solar power station and remove the 3 screws on the back of hte panel. Remove the plastic cover and replace the spent rechargeable battery with new one. fix the 3 screws.( Rechargeable battery specification: AA size, 1.2V 600mAh,NI-MH)
NOTE: This product uses a AA NI-MH battery. The rechargeable battery must be allowed to fully charge to operate properly. Partially charging the battery on a consistent basic will drastically reduce the life of the battery.
Troubleshooting：
If your solar light does not turn on at nightm it may be caused by one of the following conditions:
A. The rechargeable battery is not fully charged or needs replacing
Make sure your light is located in an area where the solar panel can receive the maximum amount of full, direct sunlight every day. If the weather has been cloudy or overcast during the day, the battery will not be recharged for operation at night.
B. Other light sources: if this solar lights are installation to close to a street light,porch light or another solar light, it may not turn on automatically at night.
C. Dirty solar panel: a dirty solar light panel will not allow the battery to be fully recharge. This will shorten the life of the battery and cause the light to malfuntion. Clean regularly with a dampened cloth or paper towel.
